Customer Success is fundamentally about your company helping your customers and *their* customers succeed. Too often it’s viewed as a post sales churn avoidance team. Instead, it should be a company wide mission to enable success in many different ways. Within a Customer Success team, that is focusing on Value, Adoption, Outcomes, the Journey, Services, Training, and mutual Success Plans. In the larger company, it’s Product Management leveraging Voice of the Customer and Advisory Boards to prioritize product roadmaps, finding Partners that bring unique skillsets, and working with Marketing to unify the vision.
